Why we've loved Easter this year....

Its all about Easter!

Who else loves Easter?

I do!  Apart from the fact that we've experienced great weather and enjoyed two shorter weeks at work - thanks to Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday, This is the first year my son who suffers from multiple life threatening allergies has experienced his first chocolate Easter Egg... which is a big thing for any child who is unable to eat anything containing eggs, dairy or nuts.

My 6 year old  son Amari was diagnosed with life threatening allergies before the age of one. I've always dreaded this time of year due to the fact he has been unable to  indulge in chocolate treats like other kids. Well, that's all changed now, thanks to brands such as Moo Chocolates.

My son and I decided to go to our local Sainsbury's store to see what #dairyfree, #eggfree #nutfree alternatives we would be able to find.  This is the first year since his diagnosis nearly 6 years ago that we've been spoilt for choice.

As we walked into the store, we spotted a  Haribo Easter bucket, which went straight into the shopping trolley.

We then headed straight over to the #freefrom aisle and there were three different #freefrom easter eggs to choose from and it was a tough choice but we decided to scoop up one of these moo free chocolate Easter Eggs, mainly because the box is child friendly and it looks fun. If you've never heard of the brand moo free, they are a UK manufacturer  who sell a dairy free and vegan chocolate tasty alternative to milk chocolate.  The best thing was seeing the smile on my son's face, knowing he could enjoy Easter eggs like the other kids... we are both looking forward to next year.

I'd love to know  how your #freefrom experience has been over Easter?
